The three-dimensional and vivid ancient Egyptian civilization
This exhibition shows ancient Egyptian civilization from three perspectives: blessings from the gods, exploring immortality, and the Nile River. As an iconic cultural relic of ancient Egyptian civilization, mummies, books of the dead, small pyramids, sphinxes, etc. all came to Guangzhou for the first time. The huge body of the lion-headed man, the statue of the Sekhomite, the lion incarnated by the god Amon, and the portrait of the sheep-faced figure, together with many small bronze statues, created the solemn and dignified ancient Egyptian world of faith.
What’s special about this exhibition is the construction of a three-dimensional and vivid ancient Egyptian civilization for the audience, where the audience can enjoy the headrests, sandals, as well as their exquisite jewelry and clothing.
All the exhibits in this special exhibition are from Turin, Italy Babaylan 1990 cloth draw and the museum, which is the largest collection of ancient Egyptian cultural relics in the world outside of Egypt.
The exhibition lasts from December 20, 2018 to March 20, 2019 for a period of 3 months. During the exhibition, the museum will also provide multiple academic lectures and audience interaction activities.
